With the maturity of frequency conversion technology, this technology has been widely applied in air conditioning systems. Currently, the power consumption of frequency converters used in air conditioning is relatively high, requiring greater ripple resistance from the aluminum electrolytic capacitors at the input end of the converters. Moreover, since the frequency converters are located on the outdoor unit of the air conditioning system, they are subjected to higher environmental temperatures. In tropical regions of Southeast Asia, the outdoor temperature can be reaching 38-50°C. Therefore, aluminum electrolytic capacitors used in such environments cannot withstand prolonged high-temperature operation, leading to a high failure and maintenance rate. To address this issue, Linkeycon independently developed a high-temperature resistant aluminum electrolytic capacitor for frequency conversion air conditioners in 2018.
Linkeycon capacitors overcomes two current failure characteristics of aluminum electrolytic capacitors under high-temperature conditions: solvent volatilization and electrolyte decarboxylation. By utilizing high-boiling solvents as well as corresponding auxiliary solvents, the electrolyte can tolerate temperatures exceeding 135°C. The method of adding stabilizers has slowed the decarboxylation rate of the electrolyte.
Linkeycon’s high-temperature-resistant aluminum electrolytic capacitors fully meet customer requirements. In terms of lifespan, they can achieve 135°C and 5000 hours under high temperature DC load and high temperature ripple tests, far surpassing the lifespan specifications of similar capacitors from peers at 105°C for 5000 hours or 105°C for 10000 hours. The products have been widely applied in the field of air conditioning inverters, with rapid market growth. Major clients include Midea Group, AUX Group, Shenzhen Ruiling Industrial Co., Ltd., Megatronic, and others, earning trust from customers both domestically and internationally.
